DOE Changes Teacher Workday to Make-Up Day. 📚

Students now have school instead of off for Teacher Workday. Due to the closure of schools on Thursday, September 26, and Friday, September 27 as a result of Hurricane Helene, the DOE will be utilizing Monday, October 14, previously designated as a teacher workday, as a make-up day for students.

Kim Kardashian, a prominent advocate for criminal justice reform, is urging for the release of Erik and Lyle Menendez following the announcement that Los Angeles prosecutors will be re-examining new evidence in their case.

Murder Suspect Falls Into Cops Arms 🚓

Authorities received an unexpected break in their search for a murder suspect when he accidentally dropped down from the ceiling of the building where he had been hiding.

The U.S. Marshals Service reported that 20-year-old Deario Wilkerson was apprehended on Monday, several months after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of first-degree murder and reckless endangerment related to a deadly shooting in Memphis, Tennessee.
