SMART - Saving Missing Animals Response Team

We are 100% volunteer based team that rescues abandoned, injured & lost dogs. We are a foster based nonprofit organization, provide safe & loving homes until vetted and ready for adoption. Our mission is to provide A voice for the voiceless animals.

When we receive calls that are heartbreaking, we jump to help. With your support, we are able to rescue, rehab and find forever homes for the abused and abandoned fur babies. We also provide all medical care, spay/neuter and emergency care. We provide training, when the funds are available, for the dogs with trauma after abuse. We are the voice and change that these dogs desperately need.
Every day, we have teams of volunteers to make a real difference. Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get an impassioned team to focus on change.

What’s that Horrid Beeping Sound? !!PEP TANK ALARM!! 💩

If your PEP tank alarm is going off, you can silence it by pressing the button on the bottom of the control panel. Limiting water usage allows your system adequate time to recover. If your alarm will not silence or you have a sewage backup in your home, submit a case at www.palmcoast.gov/connect.

It is especially important for residents with PEP tanks (Pretreatment Effluent Pumping System) to drastically decrease water usage if they lose electricity. PEP tanks will not empty into the wastewater system if there is no power. If the tank fills to capacity, there is a risk it could back up into your home.

Palm Coast 25th Anniversary Celebration 🎉

The City of Palm Coast is excited to invite residents and visitors to join in celebrating our community's vibrant history and spirit with a series of special events, all leading up to the 25th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, October 26th, at Central Park in Town Center from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

New Traffic Pattern. Don’t Worry Not Another Roundabout. 🚓

Beginning today, October 18, 2024, residents visiting the Indian Trails Sports Complex will notice a new traffic pattern designed to improve safety and traffic flow. The main entrance to the complex will remain the same, serving as the only entry point. However, all traffic exiting the complex will now be routed past the baseball fields and near Parkview Church.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Fire Station 26. 🚒

The City of Palm Coast is excited to announce the groundbreaking of Fire Station 26, located at 72 Airport Commerce Center Way, on Thursday, October 24, at 10 a.m. The public and media are invited to attend this important milestone, marking a significant investment in the city’s fire protection services.

LIAM PAYNE ONE DIRECTION STAR DEAD at 31 ... Fell from Hotel Balcony 🎤

Liam and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy arrived in Argentina on September 30, posting several social media posts together showing them having fun on vacation. We're told she left Argentina on the 14th. Liam stayed behind, and checked into the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

The former One Direction singer died Wednesday evening. Several witnesses at the hotel where he was staying in Buenos Aires tell us Liam fell from his room on the 3rd floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel. We do not know if it was intentional or accidental.
